CKids Chanukah Block Party!
As winter sets in and Chanukah approaches, we are excited to invite you and your family to ‘warm up’ with a vibrant celebration at Chabad of Putnam!
Join us on December 22nd, for the CKids Chanukah Block Party, where your children will engage in a variety of activities that embody the spirit of Chanukah. They’ll experience dynamic twists on traditional festivities, from stepping into the spotlight as improv-style reporters at the hilarious “Neighborhood News Station” to spinning and sprinting to fulfill fast-paced orders at “DreidelDash,” and sampling and rating their favorite treats at the “Food Truck Fest.”
One of the highlights of the event will be our special #ShareTheLight activity, where children will craft glowing LED sculptures. These creations will be proudly displayed in their home windows, showcasing the miracle of Chanukah and their Jewish pride to the entire neighborhood!
Participants will also have the chance to visit the “Glow & Go Post Office,” where they can send heartfelt Chanukah wishes to their extended family and to IDF soldiers.
This event is all about spreading the light of Chanukah in a bold, fun, and unforgettable way. This year, we’re not just lighting candles—we’re lighting up our neighborhoods with pride, resilience, and unity. Now more than ever, the message of Chanukah is clear: when others try to extinguish our light, we shine even brighter.
